Senior Legal Counsel (Product/Regulatory)

We are looking for a highly motivated, analytical, business-focused lawyer to join our fast-growing and fast-moving company. As Senior Legal Counsel (Product/Regulatory), you will be a key strategic adviser to the Product Team and other business teams, identifying and addressing product, regulatory, privacy, and other legal risks and mitigations within the financial regulatory environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years PQE lawyer, with strong financial services regulatory experience, ideally from a top law firm
• Excellent knowledge of financial services regulations, including the FCA Handbook (BCOBS, Consumer Duty, CASS) and FSMA (including the FinProm regs), as well as wider consumer protection issues, including Data Protection
• Highly collaborative, comfortable with ambiguity and able to provide pragmatic, business-oriented advice within the complex financial regulatory environment in which Moneybox works
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to juggle and prioritise a large number of competing matters
• Pragmatic approach to advice, with the ability to understand our business and apply an appropriate commercial lens to reviews
