Surgical Technologist - Outpatient Surgery Center

Under the leadership of the department director and the supervision of an RN, the Surgical Technologist is responsible and accountable for working intra-operatively in the preparation and handling of supplies and equipment to maintain a safe and therapeutic surgical environment for the patients in accordance with the policies and procedures of the hospital and department.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year scrub experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care hospital or multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center
• Graduate of a surgical technologist training program strongly preferred
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS is required
