Job Description
Construction Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy construction equipment in construction and maintenance activities. The role involves operating various pieces of equipment, performing routine maintenance and safety checks, and supervising a work crew.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience operating three (3) of the following pieces of construction and maintenance equipment: excavator, bulldozer, backhoe, motor-grader, asphalt spreader, trash compactor, and lowboy tractor trailer.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Alabama Commercial Driver's License and insurable driving record to drive and operate heavy equipment used for construction, maintenance and repair.
