
Job description
The E&I and Utilities Supervisor is responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation and maintenance of plant electrical, instrumentation, and utility systems. This role ensures compliance with all HSE and regulatory standards while optimizing maintenance execution, utility performance, and workforce development in a PSM-regulated chemical manufacturing environment.
The E&I and Utilities Supervisor will plan, coordinate, and schedule daily maintenance and utility activities, ensure work readiness, and assist in executing planned work and reducing maintenance backlog. They will also optimize maintenance and utility costs, support development and execution of annual cost and productivity improvement plans, and monitor and report on utility consumption and performance metrics monthly.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of related experience in electrical maintenance and utilities management and coordination, preferably in the chemical manufacturing industry. They will have specific knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, boiler operations, and water treatment systems, and proficiency in math and Excel spreadsheets. The candidate will also have good organizational, time management, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills, and be able to function and communicate with all levels of the organization.
