Assembly & Test Technician

Role Overview

Join our team at our modern manufacturing facility in Tewkesbury, supporting our Commercial Aircraft Group. This is a hands-on, precision role working on high-spec aerospace products.

What You Will Do

Carry out detailed assembly and testing operations, working to tight tolerances and strict quality standards. Your day-to-day will include cleaning components, building and testing products, fault finding and diagnosing issues, and carrying out processes such as flow matching, wire locking, labelling, and finishing.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar production/assembly role (aerospace or comparable high-spec industry preferred)
• Experience in medical device assembly or other highly regulated, fine-detail environments would be highly advantageous
• Strong hands-on ability with hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment
• Experience working to approved documentation and accurately recording data
• High attention to detail with the ability to self-inspect work
• Diagnostic and fault-finding experience
• Understanding of servo valve operation is beneficial
• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above is preferred
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings is desirable
