Design Engineer

Role Overview

Design Engineer - Mechanical – Rugby, Warwickshire. Full Time Staff Role. In this role, you'll be involved in the design and development of ceramic products, metallised and brazed assemblies to meet customer expectations and demands.

What You Will Do

Design technical ceramic products and assemblies to meet customer expectations, conduct engineering and manufacturing feasibility reviews, generate CAD Models & detail drawings, and provide sales with product and technical support.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to learn and understand complex technical products and convert this into manufactured products to a high-quality standard
• Demonstrate success in developing and improving complex manufacturing processes
• Possess a good level of technical competence
• Qualified to HNC level or above in an Engineering / technical discipline
• Understanding of ceramic and/or refractory materials (desirable)
• Autodesk Inventor / Autodesk Vault
