Mortenson is seeking a Project Financial Controls Specialist to apply cost control procedures, best practices, and analysis to projects, supporting project teams in the Project Financial Management system and software applications.
Requirements
- Implement and administer project financial cost control functions
- Communicate with project teams on the development, application, use, and training of PFM
- Maintain effective cost control practices consistent with Mortenson's policies and procedures
- Produce cost control performance metrics for group leadership
- Provide project teams with the knowledge to make informed decisions to meet budget and forecast goals
- Support project teams with new updates and enhancements to the PFM system
- Provide functional technical expertise for system releases
- Test, validate and maintain test plans
- Prioritize system enhancements to maximize benefit to operations
- Coordinate enhancement efforts with other business groups
- Recreate and document errors and enhancements
- Provide communication to operations
