Project Financial Controls Specialist

Mortenson is seeking a Project Financial Controls Specialist to apply cost control procedures, best practices and analysis to projects, and support project teams in the Project Financial Management system and software applications.

Requirements

• Implement and administer project financial cost control functions
• Communicate with project teams on the development, application, use, and training of PFM
• Maintain effective cost control practices consistent with Mortenson’s policies and procedures
• Produce cost control performance metrics for group leadership
• Provide project teams with the knowledge to make informed decisions to meet budget and forecast goals
• Support project teams with new updates and enhancements to the PFM system
• Provide functional technical expertise for system releases
• Test, validate and maintain test plans
• Prioritize system enhancements to maximize benefit to operations
• Coordinate enhancement efforts with other business groups
• Recreate and document errors and enhancements
• Provide communication to operations
