Job Description
Morton Buildings is seeking a Construction Worker - Carpenter to join their construction crews and employee owners. The position involves learning and applying safety and construction procedures, reading and building according to construction plans, and utilizing various tools and equipment to safely and efficiently construct buildings.
Requirements
- Building construction (post-frame), carpentry or framing experience preferred
- Willingness to participate in and complete a training program
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work 9-10 hours during peak construction season
- Standard weight lifting requirements - 50 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and at various heights (up to 40 feet)
