Job Description
Morton Salt is seeking a Senior Research and Development Food Scientist/Chemist to support innovation, growth opportunities, and improvements within the core business. The role involves leading R&D activities, executing laboratory testing, and providing technical support to meet business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a food science related field
- Masters in Food & Nutritional Sciences
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in FSQR and/or R&D within the Food, Pharmaceutical or Agricultural industry
- Demonstrated experience in working in plant and laboratory environments
- Preferred experience in Food Safety Quality and Regulatory
- Ability to work in an R&D laboratory, capable of efficiently executing high volumes of sample testing
