Job Description
The Medical Assistant (MA) provides direct patient care and provider support in a primary care setting, facilitating coordinated patient-centered clinical support related to visit-level care.
Requirements
- Accredited medical assistant certification required within twelve months of hire
- Excellent written, verbal, telephone and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity/experience with client interaction on the telephone
- Basic typing skills (such as 30 WPM)
- Basic personal computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Windows operating system
- EHR experience, EPIC experience a plus
