Job Description
Motional is seeking a Principal Machine Learning Integration Engineer to contribute to the deployment and optimization of ML-based motion planning for autonomous driving. The role involves collaborating with motion planning, controls, and perception teams to ensure reliable performance in production environments and integrate ML components into the full autonomous driving stack. The ideal candidate will bridge advanced ML with safety-critical systems and possess strong problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- BS/MS/PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience deploying ML systems in real-world robotics, embedded, or autonomous platforms.
- Strong software engineering skills in C++ and Python, with knowledge of modern development practices.
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Familiarity with GPU acceleration or inference optimization.
