Job Description
Motor Coach Industries is hiring a Mechanic to perform advanced diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks on complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. The role requires 5-10 years of experience in automotive, diesel, or related fields, and involves working with various diagnostic tools, precision tools, and measurement and calibration tools. The successful candidate will be part of a team leading the world's electrification of mass mobility, and will have opportunities for advancement within the company.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in automotive, diesel, or related fields
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Air and Passenger endorsements (preferred but not required)
- High-Voltage (HV) Safety Certification and HV Maintenance/Repair Training (highly desired)
- Diagnostic Tools: Utilize systems like Vansco, Cummins INSITE, and other diagnostic tools
- Precision Tools: Employ equipment such as hydraulic presses, pullers, manometers, tachometers, decelerometers, and VOA instruments
- Measurement and Calibration Tools: Use dial indicators, micrometers, reamers, and hones
- Pumps and Testing Equipment: Apply vacuum and compression pumps
- Fleet & Data Management Software: Operate platforms like Oracle and Fleetio
