Job Description
Motor Coach Industries is seeking a Mechanic to perform advanced diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks on complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, ensuring optimal vehicle performance and safety. The successful candidate will be a team player with a passion for creating a better product, workplace, and world.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in automotive, diesel, or related fields
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Air and Passenger endorsements
- High-Voltage (HV) Safety Certification and HV Maintenance/Repair Training
- Diagnostic Tools: Utilize systems like Vansco, Cummins INSITE, and other diagnostic tools
- Precision Tools: Employ equipment such as hydraulic presses, pullers, manometers, tachometers, decelerometers, and VOA instruments
- Measurement and Calibration Tools: Use dial indicators, micrometers, reamers, and hones
- Pumps and Testing Equipment: Apply vacuum and compression pumps to test engine performance
- Fleet & Data Management Software: Operate platforms like Oracle and Fleetio
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook
