Job Description
Motorola Solutions is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their TETRA Software Engineering Team in Penang, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and at least 1-3 years of experience in firmware development. The role involves analyzing, developing, and maintaining software for the organization's products and systems.
Requirements
- Master's / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunications / Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- 1-3 years' working experience or equivalent in firmware development
- Embedded system debugging and strong analytical skills
- Good Programming & debugging skills in C/C++
- Experience in real-time embedded software development for communication devices, automotive applications, industrial automation and consumer products
- Experience with Scrum/Agile/SAFe development methodologies
- Knowledge of test equipment such as oscilloscope, audio/logic analyzer & signal generator
- Good foundation knowledge of microprocessors and controller design
- Ability to work and communicate well across different design centers
- Knowledge in Perl, Bash, Python, C# programming
