Job Description
Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its Vehicle Intelligence Hardware Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing highly sophisticated cameras for professional and mission critical markets.
Requirements
- A Bachelor Degree or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in a related field with demonstrated experience in product design of electronic enclosures
- Experience in 3D CAD modeling, generating 2D drawings per mechanical drafting standards
- Experience with various manufacturing processes such as plastic injection molding, metal casting and stamping, rubber/elastomers and rigid/flexible printed circuit board assemblies
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with material properties and design guidelines of mechanical commodities
- Demonstrated experience of Finite Element Analysis for structural and heat transfer applications
