Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of LMR products and services. The role involves managing projects from inception to close-out, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management methodologies, experience in running project phases, and expertise in at least two areas of PMBOK. Strong knowledge of Motorola Solutions Astro 25 Public Safety systems is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in one of the following: Project Management, Engineering, LMR, RF Systems, Radio Frequency, Radio Communications, Wired/Wireless Communication Systems, IT, Motorola, Military experience, or Public Safety experience.
- Demonstrate a firm understanding of all nine areas of PMBOK project management with expertise in at least two areas.
- Experience in running project phases and overseeing the development of a complete project plan.
- Strong knowledge of Motorola Solutions Astro 25 Public Safety systems.
- Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to achieve results in a multi-organizational environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Must be a self-motivated team player, able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives.
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- PMP and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) highly desired; PM Masters Certificate is a plus.
- Understanding of two-way radio/cellular infrastructure communications products, services, and systems.
- Understanding of local and state public safety customers (police, fire, emergency medical services)
- Motorola Solutions Field System Integration experience is a plus.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
