Our company seeks a Systems Engineer/Technician to lead customer presentations, system staging, and live system upgrades in a high-performance culture with demanding cycle times and high customer expectations. The role requires travel to customer locations in Quebec, Canada, and involves working with radio communication systems, IP networking, and network design methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or Networking
- OR 3-5 years of Engineering or Wireless Communications experience
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident with the ability to obtain RMCP security clearance
- Must be fluent in both English and French
- Experience/knowledge in radio communication systems, radio propagation, RF, wireless or broadband/LTE
- Experience, good understanding, and working knowledge of IP networking, network design methodologies & troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS)
- Certifications through CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA-Junos, Nokia NRS1, CCNA or similar
- Previous knowledge and experience working with Juniper, Aviat, Cisco, Nokia/Alcatel, Xtreme, Ceragon
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to present complex topics to nontechnical audiences
