Job Description
Under the guidance of IT management, the IT Infrastructure Administrator handles the installation, configuration, operation, support, and maintenance of IT infrastructure managed by the department, regardless of location. The role aims to ensure the infrastructure's high performance, confidentiality, integrity, availability, and security.
Requirements
- Research, evaluation and testing of new technologies, products and services
- Installation, configuration, testing and release of new technologies/products/services or changes to existing production systems
- Documentation of systems deployed and review of project implementation
- Routine tasks required to ensure the operation of production systems to the highest levels of performance, confidentiality, integrity, availability and security, as well as the resolution of issues arising
- Roll-out of updates and upgrades to existing production systems
- Providing help to other team members and deputizing for them when necessary
- Ongoing effort to improve products, services, policies, processes, procedures and practices
