Nurse Practitioner-Psychiatry-Mount Sinai Hospital-Part Time - Day

The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work in a part-time capacity at Mount Sinai Hospital. The Nurse Practitioner will assess patient health status, initiate treatment plans, and educate patients on health promotion and disease management. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in nursing, experience in a clinical setting, and be certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.

Requirements

• Licensure as a registered nurse in the state of New York
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York
• Master's degree in nursing
• Experience in a clinical setting
• Ability to perform history taking and physical assessment techniques
• Ability to interpret and apply principles of nursing research utilization
• Ability to manage and coordinate a patient caseload
