The Clinical Coordinator will work closely with the clinical education team to promote program success with a strong focus on the clinical phase. The Clinical Coordinator will hold teaching duties primarily related to Supervised Clinical Practice Experiences and support identifying, developing, and maintaining adequate clinical affiliate sites and preceptors consistent with accreditation requirements.
Requirements
- Provide academic instruction and evaluate student performance as assigned
- Support the alignment between what is expected and taught according to the accreditation requirements
- Maintain faculty-student engagement throughout the clinical phase
- Recruit, develop, coordinate, maintain, visit, and monitor clinical sites, clinical experiences, and preceptors
- Serve as a faculty advisor to students and monitor advisee progress in the program
- Participate in ongoing accreditation activities aligned with professional standards
- Facilitate small group learning activities as assigned
- Participate in admissions activities to include prospective student recruitment, evaluation, and selection
- Maintain and update educational equipment and online learning resources
- Stay current with trends and developments in PA education and clinical practice
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the field through scholarly activities, presentations, or publications if applicable
