Job Description
Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Lactation Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will provide support and education to breastfeeding mothers and infants, as well as educate staff members on lactation and related topics.
Requirements
- Current International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification or 1 year of experience in a mother/baby unit with completion of the Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) program
- Basic computer skills and ability to use medical devices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Critical thinking and organizational skills
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts and prioritize patient care
