Job Description
The Cook is responsible for preparing, working with and delivering food according to the nutritional needs of each resident, providing food and customer service to residents and guests, while maintaining high standards of quality, sanitation and safety. The position is the primary driver of New Day's food philosophies and represents the company with professionalism.
Requirements
- Must complete probationary period successfully
- Must have CBRF Dietary and ServSafe training
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to prepare food, cook, serve meals and assist the residents in eating
- Excellent customer service skills, courteous, professional, work well as a team and be compassionate and patient
