Tool & Die Maker

We are looking for an experienced Tool & Die Maker to join our team at Reich Tool & Design. The ideal candidate will have a high school education, 5-year apprenticeship, and 5 years of practical experience. They should have knowledge of metallurgy, GD & T, metrology, and ability to read blueprints. The Toolmaker will be responsible for coordinating projects, building or repairing metal stamping dies, prototypes, jigs, and fixtures, and developing, tryout, and debugging tools and dies.

Requirements

• High school education or GED
• 5-year apprenticeship and 5 years of practical experience
• Knowledge of metallurgy, GD & T, metrology, and ability to read blueprints
• Ability to build metal stamping dies, fixtures, and prototypes
• Prior project management type experience in leading jobs demonstrating leadership skills
• Knowledge of industry software CAD/CAM
• Intermediate use of Microsoft software and computers in general
