Staff Accountant

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. is hiring a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting processes and participate in monthly and quarterly book close. The role involves financial support around transactions related to events, including preparing and recording journal entries, reconciliations, and related party processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferred
• Solid understanding of the monthly close process and U.S. GAAP
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization
• Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
