
Job description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in accordance with electrical diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and/or manufacturer’s specifications. This role requires adherence to safety procedures and/or protocols and established Good Manufacturing Processes to ensure product integrity and customers’ specifications are preserved.
Performs routine maintenance, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains mechanical and electrical equipment, records and reports damaged or broken parts, thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, and fabricates parts, guarding, and parts modifications for equipment repairs and improvements.
This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial setting, preferably in the food manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical controls, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and electronic equipment, and basic to intermediate knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
