Job Description
Job Description: Counselor III position at Henley State Jail in Dayton, Texas. Impact lives and provide treatment for offenders with dual diagnosis, social or mental health issues. Pay $57,160 salary. Benefits include 401(k), medical, vision, and dental benefits, life insurance, and paid time off. Schedule: Full Time, Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, mental health, substance abuse counseling or associated field
- Current license in the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or licensed psychologist
- Four (4) years related experience preferred
- Computer skills desired and evaluative and counseling skills are essential
- Valid driver’s license in the state of Texas, unless waived by management
