The Gadsden Correctional Facility is hiring educators to assist with making a difference in the lives of those on the inside. Instructors are responsible for providing instruction to inmates in accordance with approved curricula and providing basic direction in compliance with American Correctional Association (ACA) standards, Correctional Education Association (CEA), Management & Training Corporation (MTC), Florida Department of Corrections (FDOC) and Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) directives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Two (2) years of relevant teaching experience
• Valid teaching certificate from the Florida Department of education or comparable authority
• Valid driver's license in the state of Florida with an acceptable driving record
