Engineering Team Leader

We’re recruiting an Engineering Team Leader to join our Skelmersdale site in a key leadership role within the engineering function. This role plays an important part in delivering safe, reliable, and cost‐effective engineering performance, while supporting the Site Engineering Manager in progressing the site’s Maintenance Excellence roadmap.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering leadership role within a manufacturing environment (food/FMCG highly desirable)
• Strong people leadership skills with experience coaching, developing, and motivating engineers
• Sound mechanical and/or electrical engineering background
• Experience using CMMS systems and maintenance planning processes
• Confident in problem solving, root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement
• A visible, credible leader with the ability to influence across teams and functions
• IOSH or equivalent health & safety knowledge preferred
