Robotic Weld Tech

Role Overview

Multimatic Michigan is looking for a Robotic Welding Technician to provide manufacturing departments with well-maintained equipment, ensuring quality and meeting production requirements.

What You Will Do

Set up and teach robots, troubleshoot and adjust equipment, assist with changeovers, and maintain equipment to ensure quality parts.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must have strong PLC skills, experience with Motoman & Fanuc robots, and Allen Bradley PLC's. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and interact with all levels of employees.

Requirements

• Post secondary diploma from a technical college in Robotic Welding, Electro-Mechanical, or Automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
• Minimum 3+ years of experience
• Must have very strong PLC skills
• Experience working with Motoman & Fanuc robots, and Allen Bradley PLC's
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Strong problem solving techniques
• Ability to read blue prints
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
