Fitter

Assembler responsible for fabricating and assembling components for truck equipment from pre-cut metals and raw material. Reads and interprets assembly instructions and item lists to ensure correct measurements and proper installation of parts. Performs metal fabrication operations using conventional metal shop equipment, welding processes, and related equipment.

Requirements

• High school level education or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical drawings
• Ability to meet production and quality standards
• Proven decision-making skills and judgment to perform quality checks
• Positive attitude and the ability to function in a team environment
• Ability to work well and communicate effectively with others
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16''
