Fitter/Assembler

Assembler is responsible for fabricating and assembling components for truck equipment from pre-cut metals and raw material. Performs metal fabrication operations using conventional metal shop equipment, welding processes, and related equipment. Ensures all assembly operations and components on truck equipment are within specified tolerances.

Requirements

• High school level education or equivalent and specialized training
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical drawings
• Ability to meet production and quality standards
• Ability to work on assignments that are repetitive in nature and may be moderately complex
• Proven decision-making skills and judgment to perform quality checks
• Positive attitude and the ability to function in a team environment
• Ability to work well and communicate effectively with others
