We are seeking a Support Professional to provide direct care, academic support, and positive engagement for students with disabilities in an educational setting. The Support Professional will play a critical role in promoting student safety, participation, skill-building, and overall development across school, residential, and community settings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Education, or related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in an educational setting serving students with disabilities
- Ability to maintain a calm and effective demeanor in emergency and stressful situations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality care
- Ability to effectively implement approved physical intervention techniques
