Research and Development Scientist II - SLC: Independently designs and optimizes molecular assays, contributes to research projects, and mentors research associates. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate molecular biology workflows with automated systems.

Requirements

• B.S. with 8+ years of industry experience in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science
• M.S. with 6+ years of industry experience in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science
• Ph.D. with 2+ years of industry experience in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques that include DNA and RNA extraction, Next Generation Sequencing laboratory workflows, and informatics analysis
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Experience with lab automation preferred
