7-12 Spanish Teacher

Mystic Valley Regional Charter School seeks a 7-12 Spanish Teacher to deliver the Spanish program for students in Grades 7–12, aligned with the Core Knowledge curriculum and the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.

Requirements

• Implement the Spanish curriculum in alignment with established school programs and, where applicable, the IB framework
• Teach up to five subject-area classes, each meeting daily
• Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction grounded in clear learning objectives
• Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback, including progress reports and report cards
• Collaborate weekly with colleagues in the Languages Department
• Maintain effective classroom management using the school’s assertive discipline model
• Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional development
• Perform other duties as assigned by school leadership
