7 - 12th Grade Science - Chemistry teacher

Mystic Valley Regional Charter School is seeking a full-time Chemistry Teacher to deliver the Chemistry program in Grades 7–12. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and the ability to teach up to five classes daily.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze data, assess student performance, and adjust instruction accordingly
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Deep content knowledge in chemistry
• Experience designing and implementing lab-based instruction preferred
• Ability to create lessons aligned with school and curricular goals
• Successful completion of applicable MTEL exams within one year of employment
