DouroAzul is a river cruise company that offers a unique experience to its guests. We are recruiting a Junior Sommelier to join our team and create and manage wine and liquor lists, provide training on wine service, and ensure compliance with established standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the role, preferably in cruises or 4/5-star hotels
- Training and/or experience in Food and Beverage Management (F&B)
- Broad knowledge of wines, with a particular focus on the Douro region
- Excellent knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), ensuring food safety
- Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills
- Notable organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Good computer skills in a user-friendly interface
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
