The Manufacturing Project Engineer is responsible for managing projects and programs, requesting quotations, and overseeing support staff. They must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering technology and at least 5 years of experience in an engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Engineering technology
- 5 years working in an engineering role in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in use of computers including Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
- Knowledgeable in accounting and/or financial mathematics
- Familiarity with metal stamping operations
- Familiarity with compression and injection molding operations
- Customer service experience
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledgeable of pneumatic and hydraulic controls
- Familiarity with equipment and process safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Familiarity with machine and equipment control system design and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley, Siemens and Schneider PLC
- Familiarity with PanelView, Maple or similar HMI products
- Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic control system design and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with machine and tool design methods and processes
- Familiarity with computer aided design (CAD) software
- Familiarity with GD&T methods and interpretation
- Familiarity with problem solving methods and tools
- Familiarity with Continuous improvement techniques for manufacturing
