Manufacturing Project Engineer

The Manufacturing Project Engineer is responsible for managing projects and programs, requesting quotations, and overseeing support staff. They must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering technology and at least 5 years of experience in an engineering role in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Engineering technology
• 5 years working in an engineering role in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in use of computers including Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
• Knowledgeable in accounting and/or financial mathematics
• Familiarity with metal stamping operations
• Familiarity with compression and injection molding operations
• Customer service experience
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledgeable of pneumatic and hydraulic controls
• Familiarity with equipment and process safety standards and OSHA regulations
• Familiarity with machine and equipment control system design and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley, Siemens and Schneider PLC
• Familiarity with PanelView, Maple or similar HMI products
• Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic control system design and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with machine and tool design methods and processes
• Familiarity with computer aided design (CAD) software
• Familiarity with GD&T methods and interpretation
• Familiarity with problem solving methods and tools
• Familiarity with Continuous improvement techniques for manufacturing
