Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer responsible for analyzing engineering specifications, monitoring operational processes, and developing quality control methods to ensure good quality products are produced and shipped to the customer on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a automotive Tier 1 manufacturing environment
• Gage R&R experience and calibration a plus
• Ability to perform statistical evaluations using Statgraphics, Minitab or related application
• Basic understanding of statistics required
• Problem solving skills and interpersonal skills required
• Knowledge of Quality Systems (FMEA's, PPAP's, TS16949, Ford Q1, DCX, GM, etc.)
• Developed communication skills with all levels of management
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
