Job Description
Quality Engineer to provide technical knowledge of customer requirements and needs, ensuring Quality systems are implemented, maintained, and adhered to. Perform root-cause analysis, lead cross-functional teams, and communicate quality-related issues to plant personnel.
Requirements
- Active participation in Advanced Quality Planning (AQP)
- Regulation and update of process control documents
- Act as Customer liaison
- Coordinate special containment activities
- Initiate and lead cross-functional teams for root cause analysis
- Perform root-cause analysis using statistical problem solving methods
- Communicate quality-related issues through Quality Awareness Bulletin (QAB)
- Lead the MRB (Material Review Board)
- Write and update standard operational procedures
- Weekly review of Customer specific websites
- Provide training to employees
- Active participation on Internal, Customer and ISO TS/16949 Audits
- Quality planning, assurance and implementation associated with engineering changes (ECRs)
- Develop and maintain Layered Process Audits (LPA) and Error-Proofing Validation (EPV) lists
