Laundry Aide (Part-time)

Responsible for the cleaning of resident clothing and facility linens, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and performing routine equipment cleaning.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Six months experience in a long term care environment preferred
• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to be patient and polite
• Ability to learn operation of washing machines, dryers and associated equipment
• Ability to learn infection control techniques
