Radiation Control Technicians Level 2-4

Napakiak Environmental and Construction (NEC) is seeking 7 Radiation Control Technicians (RCTs) to join their team, providing services to a Client in Oak Ridge, TN. The RCTs will perform monitoring of personnel, work areas, and items leaving radiological areas, recommending personnel monitoring devices, protective equipment, and working time for operations and maintenance personnel. They will also conduct investigation of cause and effect for results exceeding guidelines and participate in emergency response organization.

Requirements

• DOE RCT standardized CORE training certification
• Ability to perform mathematical computations and conversions
• Knowledge of principles, methods, and mechanics of monitoring and sampling of radiological hazards
• Ability to recognize and characterize problems related to standards and limits, plan investigation action and define corrective measure
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a Q clearance
