Generator Technician

National Power is seeking a Generator Service Technician to perform maintenance and repair of generator sets and other electrical equipment in Norfolk, VA. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to troubleshoot and repair various types of electrical equipment.

Requirements

• HS Diploma required; Associate degree in an electrical/mechanical related field preferred.
• Current Generac Power Systems certification preferred.
• US Air Force Electrical Power Production Specialist, US Navy Electrician’s Mate, or Generator and/or UPS field service technician preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to give verbal/written reports.
• Excellent driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Good computer skills and Microsoft software proficiency.
