Job Description
Native Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide patient-centered care in a direct patient care setting. The CMA will be responsible for performing various clinical and administrative tasks, including preparing patients for exams, administering medications, and maintaining patient records. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, certification as a CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA, and 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a direct patient care setting. Spanish language fluency is preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant training program
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA
- 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a direct patient care setting
- Spanish language fluency (preferred)
- Valid and unrestricted Arizona driver's license (within 30 days of hire)
- Criminal background check and Class I Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Substance abuse testing
- Updated immunization record
- Tuberculosis (TB) skin report
- BLS certification
