The Sanitation Supervisor provides leadership to the Sanitation team to achieve full plant compliance with all federal, state and customer requirements and the Company's own food safety and manufacturing standards.
Requirements
- Leads the sanitation team in safe working practices
- Understands the manufacturing process and equipment/parts design
- Problem solves with Operators and facilities Management Teams
- Demonstrates good time management
- Maintains records and daily logs
- Accountability for all Departmental stock & inventory control
- Plays a key role in maintaining facilities cleanliness and physical condition
- Ensures all safety procedures are followed
- Must be able to follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines when using and storing chemicals
- Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of national Food safety initiatives by strict compliance to all FDA, SQF and AIB safety protocols and procedures
