Broker, Commercial Insurance

Navacord is a leading insurance provider seeking a Broker to review risks and execute strategic market approaches for commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in underwriting, broking, or senior account service roles, a strong understanding of business risk, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in Underwriting, Broking, or Senior Account service role
• Successful completion of the CIP, FCIP, or CAIB programs
• Level II Insurance License
• Effective communication skills
• Demonstrate appropriate sense of urgency to achieve objectives and deadlines
• Make high quality decisions and effectively resolve problems
• Computer literacy, including strong working skills of MS Office
• Presentation skills – public speaking & ability to explain documents prepared for client
• Ability to build strong relationships with team members, underwriters and clients
• Excellent organizational skills
