Job Description
The Nayak Lab has an opening for a research assistant I to contribute to new and ongoing projects in the lab, using various techniques in anaerobic microbiology, microbial genomics, and more. The successful candidate will report directly to Dr. Renuka Nayak, MD, PhD, and work closely with collaborators within and outside of the group.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a research team
- Familiarity with standard wet lab techniques and/or computational analysis of large datasets
- Bachelor’s degree or at least four years of research experience
