Staff Research Associate III

The Nayak Lab is seeking a highly talented and motivated post-doctoral researcher to advance our knowledge of the gut microbiome and its impact on rheumatic diseases. The successful candidate will assist in ongoing research projects, design and execute experiments, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• PhD in Microbiology, Genomics, Immunology, Pharmacology or other related field
• Basic and translational research experience/training during graduate/research training
• Experience in standard laboratory techniques
• Working knowledge of safety standards in laboratories
• Ability to learn new methods and skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
