Staff Research Associate III

Staff Research Associate III in a lab working on cutting-edge research projects in cancer biology and cancer genomics with a focus on prostate cancer. The role involves leading projects, designing and executing experiments, and analyzing results to identify new therapeutic targets in cancer.

Requirements

• PhD in biological related science or master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or bachelor's degree with 3+ years of lab management experience
• Knowledge of principles and practice of molecular biology
• Experience in cloning, tissue culture, patient sample handling, western blot analysis, PCR, qRT-PCR
• Working knowledge of safety standards in laboratories
• Excellent organizational skills
• Careful attention to detail; ability to accurately follow experimental protocols
• Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and priorities to achieve desired goals.
• Ability to think creatively, solve problems, and meet deadlines
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Strong written/oral communication skills
• Computer literacy with full working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and graphing software
• Ability to analyze data and perform statistical analyses.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
