Machine Learning Engineer - Insurance AI

Nearmap is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join its Insurance AI team. The successful candidate will build and maintain ML infrastructure, extending existing tooling for US-specific use cases, and collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers in Australia.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or ML-focused Software Engineer
• Strong Python skills
• Hands-on experience with ML libraries like PyTorch, scikit-learn, and pandas
• Experience building and maintaining ML pipelines in production environments
• Solid SQL skills and familiarity with data engineering tools (Airflow, Spark, or dbt)
• Clear communication skills and comfort working across time zones
